Training Objective and Targeted Skills
The BTP Laboratory Technician controls the quality of construction materials through analyses and mechanical tests on various materials and products (concrete, soils, bitumens, aggregates, etc.), in the laboratory and on-site. As part of technical expertise missions, they also carry out geotechnical studies to define ground characteristics, which are essential to the proper execution of construction projects.
That is why at IFMBTP, we are committed to training Specialized Technicians in BTP Laboratory Techniques capable of conducting tests and analyses on construction materials, drafting technical reports on test results, assisting design offices and builders in interpreting test results and making the right decisions.
Specialized Technician in BTP Laboratory Techniques Training Program
Lasting 2,220 hours spread over two years, the IFMBTP training program dedicated to BTP Laboratory Technique Technicians is based on a work-study system combining theory and practical fieldwork. It is structured into 29 modules and three practical internships, allowing trainees to train alternately at their training institute and in a professional environment.
