The Electrician-Home Automation Technician is responsible for electrical and smart home installation works. They handle work planning, assembly, and monitoring of installations. They are also responsible for selecting materials and determining installation costs.
That is why at IFMBTP, we are committed to training Specialized Technicians in Electrical Engineering and Smart Home capable of dimensioning, planning, and implementing electrical and home automation installations, in compliance with quality, safety, technical standards, and applicable regulations.
Specialized Technician in Electrical Engineering & Smart Home Training Program
Lasting 2,295 hours spread over two years, the IFMBTP training program dedicated to Electrician-Home Automation Technicians is based on a work-study system combining theory and practical fieldwork. It is structured into 31 modules and three practical internships, allowing trainees to train alternately at their training institute and in a professional environment.

Admission Requirements for the Specialized Technician in Electrical Engineering & Smart Home Program
To access the Specialized Technician in Electrical Engineering and Smart Home program, trainees must:
- Hold a scientific baccalaureate, an equivalent diploma, or a Technician diploma in a specialization field allowing access to Electrical Engineering and Smart Home training.
- Be at least 17 years old
- Selection based on application file
- Pass the oral interview
Trainees must also possess the following qualities: attention to detail, rigor, anticipation and concentration skills, and interpersonal skills.
